Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to BMCU Manager (com.psm.bmcumanager).

Information Collection

BMCU Manager does not require an account and does not intentionally collect, sell, or share personal information.

The app may store the following information locally on your device:

• Saved BMCU device names.
• Device hostnames or IP addresses.
• The currently selected device.

This data is used only to restore your device list and app state.

Network Communication

BMCU Manager communicates directly with BMCU devices that you configure. The app may send and receive local network data for device monitoring, settings, logs, firmware upload, and device ID changes.

These requests are sent to the configured device address, such as bmcu.local or a local IP address. The app does not route this data through an external service controlled by the app.

Files and Firmware Uploads

Firmware files are accessed only when you select or drop a .bin file into the app. The selected file is uploaded only to the BMCU device endpoint you choose.

Data Sharing

BMCU Manager does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. The app does not sell, rent, or share user data with advertisers or analytics providers.

Security

Only connect to trusted BMCU devices on trusted networks. Firmware uploads and device setting changes can affect device behavior, so verify the selected host before applying changes.
